The two animals in this picture book are frustrated with their author/illustrator for not writing them a good enough story. This was a cute read with some very funny moments--particularly the redone book covers of other famous picture books.
I think that I found this book funnier as an adult librarian who reads picture books all the time, and I could see my older students enjoying it. Preschoolers probably wouldn't understand it. I would recommend for school age (K+).
