ok ngl but gertrude stein was a proto pick me girl for real :// she queered that shit up but stilllllllllllll
picasso is a pee pee head.
also imagine writing your own story under the guise of your bae's autobiography. like it's maybe kind of funny but also I would be pissed. Especially bcos a lot of the time it's 'Alice' implying how inferior she is to Gertrude's genius. nah.
the only reason it's 2 stars instead of one for me bcos it's kind of funny to see how really silly these avant-gardes were lol. also who knew that Mary Borden survived the Titanic. wild.
Anyways lots of big baby boys in this book so if that's your thing (with some brief glimpse of your highness Mina Loy) then give this one a read xoxo
