Book two and already a big fan of the series - the writing is definitely telling HER story which happens to involve mysteries, instead of just episodic mysteries with some plot strung through. This one was deeply personal to the character and felt informed by modern information while staying true to the time period. Gripping, emotional, and while I did have a few guesses, I was still pleasantly surprised.
