I finished this book so quickly, it’s been a while since I fell asleep with my head in a book, which was hard because Welcome to Lagos is far from sleep-inducing. It is read like an adventure book, an unlikely crew of people find each other, all from desperately different backgrounds, and go on an adventure of corruption and social justice. All set in modern Lagos. It hits hard on the topics of in/equality, wealth, and family.
