In the Year 2889 by Jules Verne

3.0

This was a cute, short read. I'm always amazed by the accuracy of his technological predictions, even if he was off by about 900 years in this case. Also kind of funny is that he can imagine radical changes like Britain becoming a colony of America, but women's roles remain the same throughout those 1000 years and are relegated to being wives, traveling to Europe to go shopping for hats, and being late for appointments.
