Carrie Soto Is Back by Taylor Jenkins Reid

fast-paced

4.5

I don’t know anything about tennis so I didn’t think I would enjoy this book. I only picked it up because some booktubers I watch recommended it, and I am so happy they did because I enjoyed every single moment of this.
The main character is so determined and sure of herself to the point where others might hate her character and call her the B-word, but I actually liked her. She knows what she wants and she works hard to achieve it.

I also like that the whole book wasn’t just about her and tennis. Her relationship with her father, Bowe and other people around her really added to the story and made it much more enjoyable. This book would have easily been 5 stars if not for the lack of Spanish translations in the book. I had to keep on googling some of the translations for the words lol.
