I liked this one, but not as much as the first in the series. Although it's the same style of story, I really didn't like Des or Logan all that much, and found them to be both superficial characters (both when they were together, and separately). Logan is basically a good-looking jerk through most of this book, and I'm not convinced Des couldn't have done better.
Although the overall idea of a city girl moving to a ranch in the middle of nowhere really reminded me of [a:Ree Drummond|2884275|Ree Drummond|https://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1449627854p2/2884275.jpg] from the Pioneer Woman cookbooks :)
Maybe they grow into each other a bit more as we seen them in the other books in this series.
