Dimitri and Arlo are adorable! 

A necessary evils Novella. We get to know Cali throughout the whole series and peak in elite services and naturally that got my attention, I wanted to get know more about her and her family while keeping in theme with reading an MM book. This story did not disappoint a perfect taster into the world of Dimitri (cali son)and Arlo. I adore the way Cali parents, teaching Dimitri how to be himself within the code, while accepting and loving who he is as her son. The skills she taught Dimitri set him up to be able to care, love and protect Arlo. 

Dimitri and Arlo’s love has been evident from the start, from 5 years old Dimitri knew who he was and who his ‘person’ in life was meant to be and that is Arlo. Dimitri protects Arlo from day 1 even if Arlo is not aware, it broke my heart to see how Dimitri was so lost without Arlo but I so admired that he knew he was going to get him back no matter what 

Ps everything about the paperback/ hardcover and Alt covers are perfect! The colour, the model, the graphics even down to the font of the writing all tie together so beautifully.
