Fairytale of New York by Miranda Dickinson

Honestly I think this book thought it was more than it was.

You're waiting for a 'big reveal' and it's a complete anticlimax, it tries to be clever about Rosie's relationship and you can tell within the first 50 pages what's going to happen.

Most chick lit is typical, fair enough, but it doesn't pretend to be anything more. This had you thinking something exciting was going to happen and it was just a string of anti-climaxes.
