You know, the thing that charmed me into falling in love with the verses of Mahmoud Darwish is that the way his words sing to me of a familiar aching constantly in one's chest of a thing that is lost, and one would never know when can one refill this hole in one's heart.
It's brilliant. Stanzas by stanzas feel like a stream of spring flowing into every fiber of my being; I could see the images he described every passing line with ease. By the end of the book, it left me hungry to read his next work. Love it.
