The story of True Crime writer, Michelle Manamara's, hunt for The Golden State Killer. The book was published posthumously, as the author died unexpectedly while the book was being written. She relentlessly pursued the GSK through web-sleuthing and eventually working alongside detectives. The book provides a lot of research and data on the GSK, while also avoiding the gratuitous details of some true crime stories. Overall, I enjoyed listening to the story. It's unfortunate that Michelle didn't live to see the outcome of her decade of work.
