Author Oscar Jayak publicly lashes out at a former childhood crush turned movie star and when his comment gets her attention, they strike up a correspondence. Soon after, Oscar gets called out by his former publicist during an upsurge of the #metoo movement and uses his anger and embarrassment as a catalyst to finally get sober. This epistolary novel, written through emails and blog posts is an excellent look at recovery, forgiveness and what we lose of our shared humanity when we live life online.
