My Grammar and I (or Should That Be 'me'?): Old-School Ways to Sharpen Your English by Caroline Taggart, J. A. Wines

4.0

I'm probably going to commit some kind of grammatical sin in this review (there are so many potential pitfalls!) but nevertheless I had great fun reading this. Some things I knew (I spotted the incorrect use of an apostrophe in Tesco last week and launched into a rant - poor Persad!) and some things were clarified for me, but each section was wittily written and the asides were most entertaining. I also love a good George W quote and this book boasted plenty.

I borrowed this book from the library but I think I need to cough up and buy it, it contains the sort of knowledge that is useful to have close at hand. Who knew grammar could be such fun?
