Dancing at the Edge of the World: Thoughts on Words, Women, Places by Ursula K. Le Guin

4.75

I could probably read the back of a shampoo bottle if it was written by Ursula K Le Guin, and this has been further confirmed by the fact that I read literary criticism for books I haven't even read.

I was awed by her Bryn Maur commencement address. What an experience it must have been for those young graduates to have those words mark their stepping stone into the "real world."

Her style is delightful, her ideas are a breath of fresh air even today, and the narrator of this particular audiobook edition (Gabrielle de Cuir) really captured the playful tone of much of her writing. A wonderful experience.
