The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald

What a goddamn fucking amazing book.

Every word is poetry and by that I mean every word is treated like it would be in a poem, perfect, irreplaceable, purposeful. I never realized it before studying the prose at length how well crafted every sentence is and let me tell you, as a creative writing student it's a fucking nut.

I always appreciated this book for its content, for the number of debates it sparked in my grade 12 English class on true love and idealization but now 3 years later, after living my life daydreaming about those easy high school days I cannot fathom how much more it affected me.

Gatsby, I fucking feel for you, you pathetic fool.
