The character seems to have a lot of trauma. It was very emotional focus. So much of the character personality seems the average person in real life but somehow in this book seems so negatively “strange”.  I brought this book as my first romance as saw a lot of good review, I could not relate at all due to cultural and gender differences. Felt like her sister really is lack depth compared to main character. This book took me a year to finish. I do not recommend as it put me to sleep multiple time. I regret buying it
