Angel & Faith: A Tale of Two Families, by Victor Gischler, Will Conrad, Joss Whedon

Did I like the big bad? No

Did I like the journey getting there and the ending? Absolutely

It’s not always about having the best villain and the most action. Sometimes it’s about the characters and connections, which is why I loved this.

Eldre Koh has really stood out to me in Angel & Faith. I love his character and his humour, and his connections with everyone. I loved the scene with him and Illyria.

I do wish that this had been the end of Dru. I loved her in the show, but I find it hard to capture her essence in the comics. Juliet Landau really made Dru the fantastic character that she is, and without Juliet’s delivery and performance the character isn’t the same. And also it’s time for some characters to stay dead!
