The story was cute and wholesome, and I could not put the book down to save my life. Girlhood for the win! The only thing that bugged me were the adult/minor and adult/barely adult relationships, which is why this book is a 4.5 and not a 5 star read, but it is a historical fiction, so I suppose it was normal back then. The age gap could be worse, I guess.
