I can’t recommend this book more. It is equal parts funny and emotionally devastating and delved into the life of someone many people (myself included) grew up watching and thinking we knew what they were like. I expect we’ll see more child actors, YouTubers, and even tik tok stars come forward in the next few years and it’s refreshing to see someone talk so honestly about their relationship with their family, fame, and the difficulties these can bring to young kids still just trying to grow up.
