The Return: Fathers, Sons and the Land in Between by Hisham Matar

challenging dark emotional reflective sad slow-paced

4.0

This was a really tough but still great read. I loved the writing, it was very moving, sad and reflective. I also appreciated getting an insight into Libya and the revolution and fall of Gaddafi. The search for his father was interesting and hard to read about but I'm very grateful to have read The Return.
