Not in Love by Ali Hazelwood
5.0
What time did I go to sleep the night I finished this? 3AM.
Ali Hazelwood is an instant read (and honestly my favorite author)
She could write a book about how soap is made and I would read it.
This book was deep, raw, and freaking rough, and I'm not just talking about the spicy scenes.
I loved this book, the work that this woman puts into her characters is insane, I feel like they are in the room with me, not just two people on a piece of paper.
Once again, Ali did not disappoint.
(also the check & mate reference, hell yes.)
Favorite Quote:
"He stared at me for an endless moment, and a silly thought nestled in to my mind, if I were able to love someone, I would choose you, in that timeline, I would want it to be you."
