Jane Austen at Home by Lucy Worsley
3.5
i <3 jane austen
this book is soooo well researched and detailed and i love it for that. i learnt a lot ! i love to learn ! only rating it 3.5 though because i did just gloss over a lot of technical terminology about things i didn’t care about sometimes (sorry to the navy) and a lack of Narrative meant sometimes i could only read it in short stints. very glad i read though!
lucy worsley likes to give her take on things sometimes in a way that is really funny if you know what lucy worsley is like but i can imagine seems weird if you don’t. my favourite part when was she started beefing charlotte brontë for slagging off pride and prejudice.
