Where do I even start?
This book is officially on my most favorites list. I don't have that list on Goodreads but in my mind but ANYWAY.
The cover is beautiful.
The writing is beautiful.
The plot is brilliant.
The characters perfect.
THIS BOOK IS FLAWLESS.
And as I said in the little comment-update-thingy at 75% of the book, the synopsis of the second book left me broken-hearted. But the ending of this book, oh. my. flippin. pancakes.
I'm going to cry. This book is that perfect. In The Keeper of the Lost Cities series, the cliffhangers at the end of every. single. book left me mad. In a good way. And that made me want to read the next book right away.
*WARNING: Minor spoilers in the following paragraph*
This book though. AH. The ending was so beautiful. I know I've probably said that word a million times by now but bear with me here. This ending wasn't the make-you-tense-and-make-you-want-to-scream type of cliffhanger. It told me (kinda) that in the end everything would be alright. That Audra would come back.
Those last few paragraphs left me all fluttery. <3
So excuse me as I go read the next book immediately. Because I JUST finished reading the first one.
