Ancient Near Eastern History and Culture by William H. Stiebing Jr, Susan N. Helft

informative slow-paced

3.0

This textbook is a decent overview of the Ancient Near East from the starts of mesopotamian civilization to Alexander's Conquests. It focuses most chapters on Mesopotamia and Egypt, but includes lesser known states like the Urartu. Personally I enjoyed it when talking about Egypt because it gives a lot of detail.
