Chloe and Jutari’s story was darker than I expected. I disliked a lot of how quickly their relationship progressed. The consent between the characters seemed so iffy, and that made their instalove feel uncomfortable to me. I think a longer novel, with more time for them to get to know each other, would have greatly improved this story. 
Regardless of that, it was still really engaging, and I do enjoy RD’s writing!
