Enjoyable though predictable
Rich girl, poor boy, interfering father, status conscious annoying mother, dickhead jealous contemporary...the book is kind of formulaic but not a bad read. A bit hard to take the immediate continuation of the relationship. Secondary characters seem to have interesting back stories. I’m guessing the basis being laid for subsequent books in series.
