I give a lot of praise to the Ice Planet Barbarian series, but the Galactic Love series is the alien romance novels that I recommend to anyone I can convince to start reading alien books. They've just got such a light-hearted and just warm tone to them and they're just So. Fun. It took me a second to get into this one (a lot of the sci-fi references Aguirre has Yara say were a bit much at first), but once I got, like, 5 chapters in, I was so into it. I'm a sucker for a grumpy x sunshine trope, and even more so when the sunshine one is like "yes, he has killed someone, but he's nice to ~*me*~." Also, this is a heist book! In space! With found family! It's a delight all the way through.
