Piranesi is a really mysterious book that I found difficult to grasp at first. I think it’s key to be patient and let the writer reveal the story to you. If you focus on the little things with too much intent, it’s easy to lose sight of the bigger themes. It’s confusing, tragic, and full of wonder with such a beautiful level of execution.
