I count myself an introvert, although not a painfully shy one as Jessica identifies herself. I don't have any qualms about striking up conversations with strangers, etc. But I was so interested to listen to Jessica's year of trying to open herself up more, and it has certainly provided me food for thought when it comes to what experiences I might be holding myself back from when I cocoon myself in introversion so often.
This book is made especially effective by the vulnerability Jessica shares with us, her readers, and I'm so thankful she decided to share her experiences with us.
