Sadly this one didn’t work for me.
I do like spicy romcoms - and this one opens with a bang - and hockey is one of the main kinds of sports romance I like. But I also need a good plot or to at least feel a connection to the characters, and I didn’t feel that here.
I also felt that it looked on the majority of female hockey fans as puck bunnies and as an actual female hockey fan that already feels like she spends enough time defending/proving she isn’t ‘one of those girls’ I’m too tired for this in fiction too.
