This is a companion book to The Warrior Heir. The protagonist is a new character, but all the characters from the Warrior Heir are included. Both of these books were hard for me to put down. Even though some of the magic rules didn't seem to hold true throughout, I still cared about the characters a great deal and was captured by the story.
