Thanks to his best friend's convincing, Rove sets off on a weekend away to an LGBT-friendly resort before his next movie launches him into stardom. However, he never thought he would find someone there that connects with him on a deep level. When the weekend is up, he hates to leave Leo.

Leo has had his own struggles, but he can't deny he's instantly attracted to Rove after their first awkward encounter. But all the late nights and fun times don't change the fact that they are on two different paths and two thousand miles apart.

Five years go by, and the two men haven't kept in touch, but there hasn't been a day when they haven't thought about each other. But when a reporter releases a video that could ruin Rove's career, the only person he finds himself wanting to talk to is Leo, if Leo still is an option.

I was excited to start this one when I received an ARC of it, but I found that early on, it really was not the book for me. Rove and Leo weren't bad characters, but I really didn't connect with them all that well, and I found the book as a whole to be too predictable.

Heart Unbroken has received many glowing reviews from ARC readers and those that have gotten their copies after its release. I truly believe that this was not a bad book at all, just that this was not the book for me.
