I failed to start the series from the first book ( I am an idiot), but this can definitely be read as a stand alone. I love second chance romances and this one worked really well for me. I loved that for a change the rockstar in the romance was a female and one which is in a mixed band. I loved her love story with Graham and the side story with the rift between herself and her family, 7 her special realtionship with her Nan. It was a solid enjoyable read, something I always expect from Ms. Perry's books :)
