Christopher Pike has always been one of my favorite authors. When I first heard about "space vampires" I thought it sounded crazy, but trusting how wonderful he is I ordered it. As soon as I finished I wanted to re-read it. The tale was unique and refreshing. Vampires aside I've never read anything like this before and fell in love. Referring to the vampires this is defiantly a one of a kind story.

I saw it was listed under horror but for me it wasn't as gory or "horrifying" to drop it into the category. Though some parts did make me a bit uneasy or even say "oh that's gross".

I highly recommend it!
