Giving it 4 stars because it was written well and the plot was pretty good.
There were a few fade to black scenes and although they had some good tension, it was not a “steamy” book.
- TW for abusive spouse (on page), abusive alcoholic parent (memories recalled), death of a parent
- One night stand (resulting in pregnancy)
- FMC didn’t know if the baby was his or her husbands (she got married the day after the ONS
- FMC and MMC didn’t see each other for 8 years and didn’t know each other’s names or details
- MMC was a Navy Seal but was injured and came home so he and his brothers could inherit the farm
- Adorable daughter that the MMC instantly falls in love with even before he finds out she’s his
- Abusive husband is arrested and put in jail until the trial
- No cheating- they wait to sleep together until her divorce is finalized
