wow. ok first things first, READ TRIGGER WARNINGS ⚠️⚠️⚠️
i want to first start out by saying how disturbing and horrific this book is. i am in no way justifying or condoning any of noah’s actions. they are 1000% wrong. i’m not denying that.
while those emotions of disgust exist, coexisting at the same time is deep empathy and pain for how he must feel. how much he hates himself.
this book is the true testament of showing there is nothing like a mother’s love. adrienne went to the ends of the earth from the very beginning until the end of this novel.
i am rating this book 5 stars because to me the hallmark of a 5 star book is one that makes you deeply feel. i absolutely bawled my eyes out at this book. the ending had me in shock. everything their pain was my pain.
all i have to say is wow. just wow.
