Dragon Bones by Lisa See

4.0

I'm familiar with two of Lisa See's books - Snow Flower and the Secret Fan, and Peony in Love - but not the two books that precede Dragon Bones. Not reading the first two books in this series hasn't detracted from enjoying this mystery set in China's interior, mixed with archaeology, politics and legend. After reading Dragon Bones, I feel compelled to deepen my understanding of China's history.
