This romantic suspense book excelled in both areas, the murder mystery and the romance were perfect! I absolutely loved the characters and their story. I loved that the fmc, Winslow, was a bad ass police chief. I love a hot protective cowboy and I am proud to be a simp for Griffin. I laughed at a few parts and cried at others. This book was a great start to the series and I can’t wait to read the rest of it! I read the book in 24 hours because I couldn’t put it down.
