This was my very first Abby Jimenez read, and I must say I enjoyed it! I should probably make a note that I read this immediately after finishing Archer's Voice, which has to be the worst book on the planet. I am just so sure of it. 'Yours Truly' was a great palette cleanser.

Pros:
  • The characters were enjoyable and very funny!
  • I loved the sweet moments between Briana and Jacob, particularly when they wrote letters back and forth to each other.
  • It was easy to read, and I didn't get bored!

Cons:
  • I wonder if it could have been a teeny bit shorter? Did we really need the conflict between Briana and Jacob to go on for as long as it did? Maybe I just feel this way because I wanted them to end up together already!
  • I also felt like
Briana's past with her miscarriage came a little out of nowhere. It surprised me, but not in a good, jaw-dropping sort of way. It felt a bit out of place, and perhaps just a way to make sense of her hesitation to fall in love.

Final thoughts: I would recommend this book to someone if they wanted a semi-light romance with lots of cute and funny moments. I may also read other books by this author!
