Ever since Diana's parents died she has kept her magic at an arms length. But when she accidentally requests a long lost spellbound manuscript her carefully planned life flips upside down. Now she is being hunted by vampires and witches who will do anything to get their hands on this manuscript. All except one vampire but even he may not be able to protect her.

This is a reread of this book and I loved it the first time and I loved it even more the second time. These characters just mean so much to me and I care so much about them. This whole series is amazing, though I haven't read the fourth slightly related book. Deborah Harkness knows how to write a story. Even if this isn't typically your genre, give this a read. It's amazing!
