Life Debt, by Chuck Wendig

5.0

8/10. While I loved this book, there were some long, long action sequences that could not hold my attention, and the ones on Kashyyyk were wasted -- why place the novel on a tree planet but have the action take place in a prison? I also wasn't too stoked about the Rebels' plotline; it was the dark, weird [d]evolution of the Empire that had my attention. There were some even better interludes here, and I actually really liked Wendig's new characters this time.
