Glove Save by Teagan Hunter

4.0

Wow! Greer is a world class grump. He hates kids. He doesn’t believe in love. So it’s a surprise to everyone, including himself, when he starts spending more time with Stevie and coaching her daughter Macie for ice hockey. It was great to see Greer’s softer side for his Mum and how that slowly extended to ‘his girls’.
Stevie does not want to like Greer or feel grateful to him so when he rescues her she feels like it put her in an awkward spot. Their tense and argumentative banter back and forth is so much fun. Stevie fights her attraction to him until that moment that she just can’t anymore and then they are ice-meltingly hot.
I loved the relationship that Greer developed with Macie. Both of them are straight up and honest with each other, respecting one another and their opinions.
As always, Teagan Hunter’s text banter is fun and hilarious and one of my favourite parts of the book.
