Oh My Goth by Gena Showalter

3.0

Jade, a non-conformist punk Goth chick, gets into trouble for the last time. Taken on a "field trip" to a secret lab, where she's strapped down a sedated, Jade wakes up in an alternate reality in which roles are reversed and Jade has gone from the bottom to the tip-top of the social ladder. To get back to reality, Jade is going to have to work with her arch-enemy, "Barbie" girl Mercedes.
I thought that this story, while a bit predictable, was cute and entertaining. Just FYI, there is a bit of language, some making out, and some teens drinking alcohol. That aside, the message was good and the characters learned valuable lessons about acceptance and love.
