Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas

5.0

After reading the majority of 1st person narrative the past few years, I will admit that 3rd person is sometimes hard for me to get in to. So I will also begrudgingly admit that this story was easy enough to immerse myself in to… after side-eyeing the physical book and picking up the audiobook instead.

Reading the ACOTAR series first probably didn’t help either, where I was expecting SJM’s other books to also be in that narrative.

I am glad I finally bit the bullet and started this series. The storyline drew me in, and I’m left wondering what secrets still lay hidden beneath characters. I already have the second book checked out, so off I go to find out more.

So far, ACOTAR is still my favorite, so we’ll see how the standing goes the further I get in to this series.
