I'de read other books in this series and went back to the first you can tell how far the writing has come as while I've enjoyed the rest of the series this one not so much every character feels like a caricature (azalea uncomfortablly so) and while in later books I like Charlie here he is more in the way <spoilers> the way that Rick is presented as amaybe suspect that has keys to godfreys collection is crazy, charlie tells no one. Also who broke in and stole the stuff?? And why?? No one has a motive for that. the misdirection from Julia was really well done I honestly didn't believe it was her until she started slipping however there was so much time pointing fingers from person to person I got tired of reading it <spoilers> I'm very glad I did not start the series with thisĀ
