Sincerely, Your Inconvenient Wife by Julia Wolf

4.0

I loved Saorise more than Luca lol
The starting was good but the middle part was the best
Them being married was so good
I loved Saorise's character(however hard her name is to pronounce)
She's independent, practical and relatable
Luca was nice too but I felt like somehow he didn't put that much effort into the marriage as much as Saorise. And he admits it himself too. His character needed a character development in mid story but then i realised he wasn't that bad in the mid story because he got worse at the end.
I didn't like how he reacted to his sister's marriage falling apart
Like okay I understand that you're stressed about it but that doesn't mean you'll treat your wife that way and he didn't even grovel or say sorry to be forgiven just like that
Just because he fucks good, doesn't mean he gets a pass on being a dick lol
I did love their families tho
Both of them were very sweet except her mother
Clara(his sister) was so nice to Saorise but Luca didn't let her stay with Clara during the accident and delivery made me so sad like okay I get it she's your sister but WHAT did Saorise even do to deserve this treatment??
The smut was good
Overall it was a good book because of how cute the other side characters were but I'd like it more if the ending was changed a bit. Ik I love book boyfriends who've done worse and I've still forgiven them but they groveled yk? Said sorry. I just feel like this guy should have groveled b4 Saorise taking him back but if they're happy with each other, who am I to say anything haha
Also I understand that he was cold and couldn't express his emotions but I thought we'd have some character development at the end. Guess not
Also I loved the starting part where he showered her with jewelry! That's what men are for anyway
Shower your wife with jewelry, take her shopping and keep her happy!
