I didn’t expect to enjoy this book so much but I really did. For much of the book we follow a beautiful, stylish, young hedonist having the time of her life in New York in the 1940s. The backdrop of characters were amazing and we get to see a young woman make mistakes and live her life (mostly) unapologetically, aside from when apologies are appropriate.

It reminded me of The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, but much better. I’d definitely recommend.
