I wanted to like this book, but I struggled through it! The change of scene every couple of chapters could have been easier to follow if they just named the main character we were following, I couldn’t find a good enough reason not to, it took me at least half the book to realise we were following the same character (I think/hope). It was sold as a sapphic book and the only reason i persisted reading was to see what happened at the end, unfortunately it wasn’t worth it! There was very little written about why or how they fell for each other so I found I didn’t really care about the romance. The world building was good and the idea of the religion made sense, but none of it was particularly detailed. Also thought the editing could have been improved
