Vampires vs humans meets beauty and the beast meets I hate you but we have to pretend to be in love.
The book was definitely cute- especially after all the gloomy books I’ve read lately. I would have rated it more, but a few of the parts seemed very rushed and lost details to squeeze more plot in at a faster pace. I actually have no clue how long of a timeline this book is spread across, it feels like it’s only a few days - a week or two at max- which is why it’s docked points. Isolde is beautiful and stunning and my dream seductress- I would LOVE her perspective. Calla is a badass vampire hunter, headstrong, bratty, and assertive. They clash and collide and when they do it makes me want more. Loved reading more sapphic romance novels.
