I struggled with this one. The writing style was just so clunky and made the story drag. It was whole giant walls of words because the characters kept rambling in their thoughts AND in a lot of speaking lines too. The male main character Lowell was the worst of it.

You could not get me to care about any of his 6 siblings or his other weird drama. It was just droning on and on and dragged. I skimmed Lowell's POV.
I liked Moriah's POV at first but even that got a bit repetitive. Actually both POVs were pretty redundant too as it kept tracking back to rehash what we already read.

They didn't even meet until 30% of the book! For something that's supposed to be a quick smutty read, that's too much. 30% of the first book literally was Lowell nonstop talking and thinking in circles.

I just skipped to the spice. Good stuff. The characters finally stopped rambling about shit and got dirty. But unfortunately cannot save the clunky nightmare that is the writing overall.
